Global Service Application
Completion of the Global Service Application will begin the journey of exploration of mission service with the ELCA. The process is intended to help you to discern if international service is what God is calling you to do and to match your gifts and skills with an appropriate assignment as available. See the general listing of
qualifications to assist you.
Please read through the entire Global Service Application before you begin. Your responses will provide Global Mission with essential information for the assessment and appointment process.
The entire process from application to appointment varies greatly in length, but generally allow four-to-six months from the time you apply.
Upon receipt of your completed Global Service Application, we will send you a letter of confirmation and more details about the process. It is at this stage when an Global Mission staff person will work more closely with you in determining next steps as appropriate.
Global Service PDF Applications
Fill out the PDF form on-screen and save the document to your computer.
In order to upload application you MUST upload Adobe 8.0 version. You can go back and complete it at a later time if necessary. Once you have completed all sections, you can send the application in one of two ways:
1. Attach both the
application and a
resume to an e-mail addressed to:
elcaglobalservice@elca.org (your signature will be required at a later time).
2. Or, you may elect to print, sign, and mail the
application and a
resume to:
