Use the following resources to help meet the needs of a suffering world and to share in the good work of ELCA Disaster Response.

Prayer, litanies and hymns are powerful ways to individually and corporately bring our concerns before God. This remains true in times of disaster. The worship staff of the ELCA has prepared the following prayer petitions, litanies and hymns to be used both by those directly affected by disasters and those who pray, sing and worship on their behalf.

When major disasters strike that involve a sustained presence and commitment by the ELCA and its partners Situation Reports are produced to help keep the members of this church up-to-date on how the response is taking shape and being put into practice.

Haiti: One Year Later (ELCADS1040)
"This colorful eight-page brochure offers a snapshot of how your generous gifts to ELCA Disaster Response have been at work in Haiti since the devastating earthquake of January 2010. Each brochure includes an offering envelope that can be placed in the offering plate or mailed directly to ELCA Disaster Response so that the church can be ready to help the next time disaster strikes. This brochure is perfectly sized for worship bulletins, and it can also be used for events and displays."

This is a 40-day devotional guide book for survivors of natural disaster.

Disaster Response Offering Envelope (ELCADS0931)
Order a supply of ELCA Disaster Response offering envelopes to be prepared to respond after disaster. Keep them in church throughout the year, or stuff them inside newsletters or worship bulletins. This envelope can be placed in the offering plate or stamped and mailed directly to ELCA Disaster Response. You may designate your gifts to a specific disaster, where needed most, ELCA Domestic Disaster Response, or ELCA International Disaster Response.
