Is my congregation talking about Mental Illness?

Mental Illness affects countless people in our churches. This September 29 – October 1 in Belleville, IL, Pathways to Promise, a faith based organization committed to helping local congregations reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, is offering a national summit “Companions on the Road to Recovery from Mental Illness.” In the summit meeting, participants will have the opportunity to network with other individuals. They will also learn about the valuable resources Pathways to Promise is developing to help congregations support and minister to people with mental illness and their families. Learn More.

God’s mission is INCLUSIVE

Our ministries are "with" people and not ministries "for" or "to" people. How can we be a more inclusive church?

Accessible

Our church is ACCESSIBLE

How can we adapt our spaces, gatherings and attitudes so all people can participate fully?
