2013 Diaconal Ministry Formation Event
The 2013 formation event will be held January 6-17, 2013 at Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg, PA. The deadline to apply is October 15, 2012. The formation event is considered integral to the preparation of diaconal ministry candidates. Ideally the formation event precedes seminary study and will assist the candidate in shaping their course of study and field experience. Pre-retirement Events

ELCA plan members, ages 50 and older, are invited to attend pre-retirement seminars conducted in partnership with ELCA synods, regions, and the Board of Pensions. The two- to three-day seminars are designed with you and your family in mind, and include two individual consultations with representatives. Spouses are encouraged to attend.
